SEEDS Iceland has opened a selection for volunteers with the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). The opportunity is aimed at candidates aged between 18 and 30 years old from Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Spain. The volunteering project will last 5 months, starting in February 2026 and ending in July 2026.. The goal of SEEDS is to promote intercultural understanding and environmental awareness through environmental, social and cultural projects in Iceland.
Eight positions are available for the role of Camp Coordinator. Specific positions include “Environment Camp Coordinator,” who will lead nature and conservation work camps., and “Photography Camp Coordinator”, focused on camps related to photography and environmental awareness. Volunteers will lead international teams and will be based in Reykjavik. The program covers accommodation in a shared house in the capital, food (with a vegetarian diet during the camps), a monthly allowance, health insurance and transport costs reimbursed according to Erasmus+ limits.
