Volunteer camps

Conditions for participation

Participation in volunteer camps InformaGiovani it is open to all members of the Association who pay a specific additional fee.
The annual membership card has a fixed cost of 30 euros, while the participation fee for each camp varies from 0 to 100 euros based on the ISEE, as described on the pricing page.

Volunteers who send the application form and make the relative payment implicitly declare to accept these conditions.

REGISTRATION AND PLACEMENT

The volunteer who intends to register for a camp in the network InformaGiovani are required to complete the VAF (Voluntary Application Form) available on the website, indicating at least three fields in order of preference and specifying whether, in the event of unavailability of places, there is an interest in being placed in other fields.
Once the application has been completed and sent, the volunteer will receive instructions on how to pay the amount due.
Except in exceptional cases agreed with the staff of InformaGiovani, only after payment has been made will the application for participation be taken into consideration and sent to the association that organizes the camp for which registration was requested.

Staff InformaGiovani will try to place volunteers in the indicated fields, respecting the order of preference.
If this is not possible, alternative placement proposals will be offered to match the volunteer's preferred dates and countries.
The volunteer placed in a field will be required to confirm his participation via email. Without confirmation, your registration will not be considered complete.

If placement is not possible, the volunteer will be refunded the participation fee, but not the membership fee (30 Euros) which will be retained as a contribution to the organizational and administrative expenses of the Association, still giving the volunteer the right to participate in all activities. of theAssociazione InformaGiovani throughout the calendar year.

No refunds will be due in any case and for any reason to the volunteer who, once placed in one of the chosen fields, does not confirm their participation or who, after confirming, does not show up at the field.

We therefore invite you to carefully check, before applying for registration and the relative payment:

  • documents required for access to the country where the camp is held (passport, visa, etc.) via the Safe Traveling website managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • travel costs for the country of destination and any restrictions on unorganized travel
  • in the case of unaccompanied minor volunteers, the effective possibilities of autonomous travel by public transport (which may vary in some countries, for example with the travel ban for unaccompanied minors under 16 years of age

INSURANCE

Volunteers have health insurance, against risks and for civil liability that covers only and exclusively the days of stay at the camp and the trip. The insurance coverage with InformaGiovani it is annual from the moment of registration until December 31st of the current year and covers all the activities carried out with our association. The Insurance is part of a collective agreement with the CAES - Ethical Solidarity Insurance Consortium whose details are CAN BE CONSULTED HERE.

PROTECTION AND TREATMENT OF PERSONAL DATA

By accepting the conditions of participation, the volunteer also accepts the conditions of protection of privacy and data processing of our Association, reported on this page.
