For decades, algorithm-based computing tools have played an increasingly important role in our daily lives, whether we are ordinary citizens, students, activists, voters, or professionals.
Since the emergence of “generative AI,” these tools have become more widespread than ever.
However, just as with social networks before them, the speed with which these digital tools have spread has not been accompanied by an increase in real knowledge of how they work, their mechanisms, and the risks they pose to various aspects of social life, both individual and collective.
This training course is organized by InformaGiovani ETS, with the aim of promoting the critical and informed use of these technologies. The course is aimed primarily, but not exclusively, at those who use so-called "artificial intelligence" tools in their work with young people and in social and professional settings. The course will cover the theoretical and practical aspects of AI development models and their history, and will present case studies and opportunities for their use in youth work. This will be illustrated with easily accessible and understandable concrete examples, using simulations, games, and practical tests.
Participants will primarily be social workers, teachers, and young journalists. They will be able to directly apply what they learn during the course and also act as "multipliers" in their respective associations or professional environments.
The course, created IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE within the framework of Erasmus+ accreditation of InformaGiovani ETS will be carried out using non-formal education methods and tools.
All costs will be covered by the organization, including food, accommodation, and insurance. Travel is reimbursed up to the maximum mileage set by the Community Program.
