An opportunity for all aspiring travel writers!

World Nomads holds a writing competition every year for aspiring travel writers. The prize is a writing workshop with one of the best travel writers in the world and a chance to travel in a region (all expenses paid) to apply the skills learnt in the workshop in real life.
 
This year, the prize is a 3-day workshop with Tim Neville which is followed by a 10-day trip through the Balkans.

​To apply, you have to write a 2500 word travel story on one of the following subjects:
 

• 'Making a local connection'
• 'Out of my comfort zone'
• 'A place I’ll never forget'
