Call for Applications: European Journalism Centre's Innovative Development Reporting Grants

The European Journalism Centre (EJC) - an independent, international, non-profit foundation  addressed to the highest standards in journalism http://ejc.net/ -  focus on seminars, research also journalism awards and competitions, has published a call for journalists for its Innovative Development Reporting (IDR) Grant programme. The Grant is supported by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Innovative journalistic projects on global development topics will be granted the amount of  $1,785,000.
By funding high-profile reporting projects which grant impact and visibility, aims of the programme is to reward quality journalism and, at the same time, give contribution in new agenda on the issue of development coverage.

Eligibility Criteria:
 
To be able to apply for this grant, journalists have to fit follow specific kriteria mentioned bellow:

• Nationality of any of the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea Republic of, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States.
• must partner with an eligible media
• journalists have aged at least 18 years old.

 How to Apply?

Duly filled application form, available on the website  EJC-IDR, must be submitted by 07.09.2016.
