Hi, my name’s Antoine, I’m 18 years old and I’m French. I did my Erasmus+ volunteering in Palermo in a private school which is called Libera Scuola Waldorf di Palermo.

I came here to discover myself and get a new experience and new capacities.
First of all, my work consisted in assisting student with disabilities. The children in this school are from 6 years old to 14 years old. I helped a student who’s 13 years old, and at the same time I supported the work in the kitchten of the school to prepare the lunch for children.

I had also the chance to do a project with the kids which consisted in teaching them how to do origami.

 

This was a wonderful experience because all the kids are so sweet with the teachers and the volunteers as well. And this experience is awesome not only thanks to the service in the school but thanks to the social life that we had. We were used to hang out with some friends and during the week-end we tried to travel around the Sicily.
