Until 15 scholarships for highly qualified researchers from Europe and Japan: this is the formula proposed by the European Canon Foundation with the aim of promoting scientific research and strengthening cultural exchanges between Europe and Japan. European fellows will be able to carry out research activities in Japan and Japanese participants will follow study paths in Europe.
Research visits to Japan must have a duration of at least 3 months up to a maximum of one year. Researchers belonging to any disciplinary field can participate. Financial coverage ranging between 22.500 and 27.500 euros per year is envisaged. From this link the form for registering on the site.

To submit the applications it is necessary to have European citizenship. Applicants must have earned at least a Masters or PhD within the last ten years of applying to the Canon Foundation. Applicants who obtained their qualification more than ten years ago will also be considered, provided they provide additional motivational information in their application. Priority is given to applicants traveling to Europe and Japan for the first time. Finally, for the purposes of the application, it is necessary to have an excellent command of the English language.
