Interesting opportunity for non-formal educators and secondary school teachers European Parliament, with the event Educators Event 2026, April 23-24 in Brussels. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between traditional teachers and the youth sector by exchanging good practices: the European Parliament is seeking 56 non-formal educators who work with young people (at least 50% of their time) and use non-formal education to raise awareness of and "teach" active European citizenship.

- April 23: Participatory workshop to share methods, exchange views with a Member of the European Parliament on education policy priorities, and network with colleagues.
- April 24: Official opening event of European Youth Week.
The European Commission is organising the 2026 edition of the European Youth Week (24 April – 1 May) on the theme "Solidarity and Fairness". The Educators Event programme includes participation in the opening event of the European Youth Week, scheduled for 24 April at the European Parliament.
