An experience of collaboration and care of spaces

The volunteer camp at the Free Waldorf School, an experience that brought benefits to the school and represented an important growth opportunity for the volunteers involved.
The group, made up of participants from various countries, worked to improve the quality of school spaces and, at the same time, developed interpersonal and organizational skills essential for active participation.
The activities involved the care of the external areas and the maintenance of the structures, with interventions aimed at making the courtyard more usable and redeveloping some common areas.
At the same time, shared work fostered collaboration, listening, and collective management of activities. The coexistence of volunteers from diverse cultural backgrounds transformed the volunteer camp into an opportunity for personal and community growth: participants developed a strong sense of responsibility, built meaningful relationships, and experimented with effective methods of cooperation.
The activity is part of the annual IGNet programme, funded by the European Union.
