There is time until June 30, 2026 to request the Youth Culture Charter and Merit Charter (introduced by the 2023 Budget Law to replace the old 18app bonus), each worth 500 euros, cumulative. They are available to young people born in 2007 with an ISEE of up to 35.000 euros, in possession of the other required requirements, to purchase:
- foreign language courses, online or in the classroom, also with international certifications (Cambridge, Trinity, Goethe, DELE, DELF and others);
- music, theatre and dance courses provided by participating schools and academies;
- books, including digital ones, and subscriptions to newspapers and periodicals;
- tickets for cinema, theatre, concerts and live shows;
- entrance fees to museums, exhibitions, monuments, archaeological areas and natural parks;
- recorded music and audiovisual publishing products;
- musical instruments.
For the 2026 Merit Card, which can also be requested by 19-year-olds residing in Italy, students must have obtained a high school diploma with 100 or 100 cum laude. In this case, there is no income limit, and verification is automatic—it occurs through registration on the portal with the National Student Registry of the Ministry of Education and Merit. The credit must be used by December 31, 2026.
