The Pope John XXIII Community Association is looking for a volunteer between the ages of 20 and 30 who wants to participate in the project "ESC IN EGYPT – Video production, marketing, support to local enterprise”, spending a two-month period in Cairo, Egypt. Departure is scheduled for the first week of August 2026, and activities will take place at the headquarters of our partner, Have a Dream, a social organization that organizes travel, cultural activities for young people, and responsible tourism.

The volunteer will be involved in activities such as:

  • Video and photography production, support in creating event marketing materials, and content creation for the host association's web pages and social media.
  • Support for project management of youth exchanges; assistance in writing Erasmus+ applications.
  • Support to the local organization Have a Dream in the preparation and implementation of events and ceremonies.

A one-day pre-departure training will take place in Rimini, Italy. In Cairo, the volunteers will live in an apartment shared with other volunteers, located a 10-minute walk from the host organization's headquarters. The project includes food, accommodation, visa and residence permit, a small pocket money allowance, and return flights.

Priority will be given to those with a strong interest in the project's activities, especially those related to communication, ability to use social media and documentation tools, fluent English, initiative, flexibility, and previous experience and/or interest in workshops, design activities, and creative writing.
