Brief History of the Escape Room “Digital Apocalypse”
Long ago, the multinational company BigKorp created a revolutionary digital technology, uniting the minds of every individual in a virtual world. However, this turned out to be a plan to dominate people through neural networks, turning the digital world into a prison. A group of rebels, known as the "Digital Apocalypse", has formed to counter BigKorp and save both worlds. Achieving this goal requires the help of “digital explorers,” experts trapped in the virtual world. With the courage of leader Lee and virtual AI, they must solve puzzles to defeat BigKorp and return to the real world.
This event is a moment aimed at disseminating the results of the "Safety Awareness in Digital Era" project Coordinated byAssociazione InformaGiovani and funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ – KA2 Cooperation partnerships in youth programme, in which two escape rooms will be presented, one analogue and one digital, designed by young people from Italy, Latvia, Spain and Hungary.
A free online course will also be presented that allows you to acquire practical skills in data protection, privacy protection, digital well-being and environmental protection in relation to the world of new technologies.
