The European Commission's Directorate-General for the Environment is promoting the campaign #FlowerCheck, dedicated to the dissemination of the EU Ecolabel among young people, students, schools, youth organizations and consumers.
The EU Ecolabel is the official mark of the European Union that certifies products and services with a reduced environmental impact throughout the entire life cycleIt represents a useful tool for identifying more sustainable solutions and better navigating the vast amount of environmental information available on the market.
The campaign invites young people to pay more attention to their daily choices: at school, at work, when shopping, when traveling, or when packing their backpacks and suitcases.
Through digital materials, videos, educational content, and pre-packaged social media resources, the initiative aims to make it easier to understand the brand and its benefits.
The goal is to promote more informed consumer behavior, helping citizens choose reliable, verified products and services consistent with the transition to a more circular, clean, and sustainable economy.
The campaign also represents an opportunity for schools, institutions, Europe Direct centers, organizations, and local workers to contribute to the dissemination of a more concrete environmental culture that is closer to everyday life.
