New call to strengthen protections and cooperation between states.
The European Commission has published the call for proposals ESF-2026-POW – Posting of Workers, financed through the European Social Fund Plus, with a total budget of 4 million euroThe aim is to improve cooperation between Member States and protect those temporarily sent to work in another European Union country.
The call supports projects in three main areas: collaboration between public authorities and social partners, clearer information on working conditions, and data collection to monitor the phenomenon of posting of workers.
Eligible activities include training and exchange programs between administrations, digital tools to inform workers and businesses, as well as studies and analyses of transnational work.
Public and private entities, non-profit organizations, universities, research centers, social partners, and civil society organizations are eligible to participate. Proposals must be submitted by partnerships consisting of at least three entities from three different EU Member States.
The Commission plans to finance 2 to 7 projects, with European co-financing of up to 80% of eligible costs.
The deadline for submitting applications is October 6, 2026.
