Are open to the selections HAPPENING – initiative supported by the program Erasmus+ of the European Union– for 27 young emerging creatives who wish to develop open-access digital tools for the benefit of young creatives across Europe. The program will involve creative and cultural entrepreneurs in the following fields: performing arts (theatre, music, dance, contemporary circus, etc.), filmmaking, creative media (podcasts, audiovisual tools, sensitive and author-centric formats), and visual arts.
Applicants must be resident in Belgium, France, or Italy (no nationality requirement), be between 20 and 35 years old, and be able to work in English. The nine-month program (from September 2026 to May 2027) includes training sessions and collaborative workshops with partner organizations to help identify the needs and challenges of cultural entrepreneurship projects; co-creation of free digital tools to be used, shared, and optimized by young and aspiring European creatives; networking with participants, professionals, and partner organizations; and the awarding of a Youthpass, a European certification of the non-formal skills developed.
For the stay in Brussels, a reimbursement for accommodation costs of 85 euros/day is provided, in addition to Erasmus+ travel grants (up to 200 euros from France with mandatory eco-friendly travel and up to 250 euros from Italy, 400 euros with eco-friendly travel). The deadline for submitting applications is May 1, 2026.
