Internships at International Fund for Agricultural DevelopmentTwo types of internships have been activated, both lasting six months: the Standard Internship Programme (IP) and the Advanced Internship Programme (EIP). IFAD's areas of intervention include rural and agricultural development; natural resource management; microfinance and microcredit; local infrastructure development; international law; financial and risk management; environment and climate change; business administration; nutrition and food security; research and development; development economics; accounting and budget management; knowledge management and communication; public-private partnerships; auditing, supervision, and ethics; information technology; and human resources.

Candidates submitting the application for admission must possess the following requirements:

• be 30 years old or younger.
• Be enrolled in an accredited university or graduate school, have completed at least two years of undergraduate study, and have taken courses within the last 24 months; or have completed undergraduate or graduate study within the last 24 months.
• Excellent English language skills are required. Knowledge of another IFAD official language (Arabic, French, or Spanish) and/or any other language may be required, depending on the region of assignment.
