A call to the creative arts for residence in Vilnius, the Lithuanian capital declared the UN City of LiteratureESCO, launched by the municipal administration and the Užupis Art Incubator. The program aims to offer writers, illustrators and translators the opportunity to stay in Vilnius for a period of four weeks and carry out a creative activity.

All selected participants will be able to have their travel expenses covered, taking advantage of accommodation in the charming artistic district of Užupis and a scholarship of 500 euros. Residents will be invited to participate in two meetings with the local community.

The dates of the residencies are 15 September – 13 October 2024 and 15 October – 13 November 2024. To join the initiative, you must send a motivational letter and a bio note with bibliography.
