Posterheroes 2026 It is the creative competition organized by the Plug Cultural Association, among others, which aims to promote visual communication as a tool for raising awareness and activating social change.
Dedicated to graphics, illustration and social communication, the 2026 edition is entitled Still Human and invites creatives from around the world to reflect, through the language of the manifesto, on the meaning of being human in a constantly evolving society, exploring the boundary between delegation and responsibility, automation and choice. The goal is not to judge technology, but to make its effects and imaginations visible. If machines can produce, optimize, predict, and recommend, it is our duty to question and interrogate human action.
Participation is free and open to all adults, both Italian and foreign, both as individuals and as groups. Each participant may submit up to three original, unpublished posters, exclusively through the official competition platform.
Posters must be vertical, 70 x 100 cm, with a maximum file size of 10 MB, CMYK color profile, and JPG, JPEG, or PNG format. Any text must be in English. Artificial intelligence-generated materials or works bearing signatures or other elements attributable to the author will not be accepted.
The following prizes will be awarded: the Favini Prize, worth €2.500, and the Time2 Prize, worth €1.500. Twelve posters will be selected for the 2027 Posterheroes Calendar.
