The International Research Institute DISARMAMENT ARCHIVE, thanks to the Otto per Mille funds of the Waldensian Church, has announced a competition for the awarding of two prizes, one for a master's degree theses and one for a bachelor's degree theses. They are named after Tullio Vinay, a Waldensian pastor, educator, and pacifist. The prizes, worth €1.000 and €500, will be awarded to master's degree theses and a bachelor's degree theses, written in Italian or English, on the topic of 'Antagonisms, Discrimination, and Conflict Management: Knowledge and Acceptance of Others as Promoted by the 2030 Agenda.'
The competition is open to those who have earned a master's or bachelor's degree from public or private universities, whether Italian or foreign, operating in Italy, between March 31, 2025, and March 30, 2026. Those who are about to defend their master's or bachelor's thesis by the summer session of the 2025/26 academic year may also apply.
