Spend a six-month period in Berlin, Germany (January-June 2026) for a training and professional experience at a selected architectural firm and explore issues related to reuse and urban regeneration.
It is the main idea of the Berlin Prize 2025, promoted by Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, by the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and by the Italian Cultural Institute in Berlin. In addition to airfare, the two selected winners will receive accommodation for the duration of their stay, a monthly allowance, and assistance with participating in activities at an architecture firm specializing in urban regeneration and suburban redevelopment, as well as accident insurance.
The winning architects will participate in the cultural activities organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in Berlin and The Aedes Metropolitan Laboratory, the project's scientific partner, including through the presentation of their works at the end of the residency.
