Celebrate and defend the beauty of the Mediterranean, whether it looks like a pilot whale, a sperm whale or a blue shark. This is the aim of the photography competition “Deep blue. Whales, dolphins and turtles in the open sea“: the initiative puts marine animals at the center to immortalize and protect them. The project was launched by Triton srl, with the financial contribution of the LIFE20 Program NAT/IT/001371 CONCEPTU Maris “CONservation of CEtaceans and Pelagic sea TUrtles in Med: Managing Actions for their Recovery In Sustainability” and supported by the financial instrument for environment of the European Union.

To participate in the contest, simply immerse yourself in nature, observe and send photos of marine mammals (or other animals that populate the marine habitat) as long as they are not in captivity. Furthermore, to register you need to know that:

• the contest is free and open;
• you can send from 1 to 3 shots in jpeg format, in color or black and white;
• Photomontages, retouching, removal or addition of elements are not permitted.
