ReMIx Neighborhoods is promoted by ACRA – third sector body and secular and independent NGO committed for over 50 years to international cooperation, the protection of human rights and the fight against poverty and inequalities – within the framework of the programme 'Global Districts' (Localized and Informal Critical Global Citizenship Education for Wider Inclusion and Engagement of European Youth in Local and Global Challenge, funded by the European Union through the DEAR Program ). A call for proposals to support initiatives that offer young people aged 15 to 30 opportunities for empowerment, helping them emerge as protagonists in addressing today's global challenges: different forms of poverty, climate change, and gender discrimination.

The project focuses on the crucial role of civil society organizations and formalized youth groups in reaching under-engaged segments of the population, particularly disadvantaged youth in marginalized areas, through inclusive Global Citizenship Education methodologies. Eligible for funding are formally recognized organizations established under national legislation that work with young people in marginalized areas; non-profit organizations with registered offices in Italy and at least two years of experience working with young people.

Projects will last between 2 and 4 months and can receive a maximum grant of €5. Proposals—such as workshops for creative activities, training courses, and digital storytelling aimed at increasing civic participation—must include all the required documentation and be submitted by 19 2025 December.
