Run for Art is the international photography contest for young professional photographers aged between 18 and 35. It was born from an idea of ​​the Giulio Onesti Foundation and Studio Pivot with the aim of combining art and sport through photography. The theme of the sixth edition is in fact 'Environment and sport'.

Each edition proposes a different theme, divided according to 5 different aspects - the number of categories symbolically represents the 5 Olympic rings: Sport and natural environment; Sport and social environment; Sport and the urban environment; Sport and cultural environment; Sport and environment in the future. Through the universal languages ​​of sport and photography, themes such as sporting ethics, diversity and inclusion are explored.

Le 40 finalist photos they will be exhibited in museums and locations of international importance: the European Parliament in Strasbourg, the MAXXI Museum in Rome, the United Nations headquarters in New York are just some of the places that have hosted Run for art shots during previous editions.

Participation is free. Photographs can be taken with any type of camera and smartphone. Registrations are open until 29 September 2023.  All the info here
