SALTO-YOUTH (Support, Advanced Learning and Training Opportunities for Young People) is a European network made up of 7 resource centers that supports support, advanced learning and training opportunities for young people and youth workers, and aims to integrate the various existing initiatives together, creating synergies capable of giving greater impact to programs and proposed activities.

Each of these resource centers focuses on a specific topic or region and is based in different national Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps agencies.

SALTO – YOUTH offers non-formal learning resources for youth workers and workers, as well as organizing training and networking activities. This support is aimed at youth organizations and National Agencies operating within the Erasmus+ Youth program and the European Solidarity Corps, as well as in other related contexts.

Objectives:

  • Improve the quality and impact of Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps programmes;
  • Support and develop European youth work;
  • Promote informal learning for young people;
  • Create tools to support partners involved in youth work
  • Share results, strategies and practices with positive implications at European level by organizing events.

The seven Resource Centers are:

Among the resources made available to young people, organizations and youth workers, particularly significant are the European training calendar (in which, in addition to the activities organized by SALTO and the national agencies, opportunities offered by various youth organizations are also published) and the "Training toolbox" (which contains hundreds of ideas and tools for organizing training activities in the youth field).
