Youth exchanges of the Erasmus+ programme They offer young people the opportunity to have unique international experiences. These exchanges, funded by the European Union, allow participants to travel, meet peers of different nationalities and cultures, and participate in projects that promote personal growth and active citizenship.
During the exchanges, participants take part in a variety of non-formal educational activities, such as workshops, discussions, and group projects, which aim to develop transversal skills, such as teamwork, intercultural communication, and leadership. These experiences not only enrich the participants' CVs, but also contribute to creating a generation of European citizens.

Take Your Space. Youth Participation Through Youth Spaces
- When: From October 30th to November 7th 2026.
- Age of participants: From 18 to 25 years
- Where: Palermo, Sicily, Italy
- Accommodation: The entire activity will take place in Palermo, Italy, at the Hotel D'Amato, located at Via Messina Marine 178/180, 90121. All activities will take place at the hotel, both indoors and outdoors. The working hours are approximately 6 or 7 hours per day, and both leaders and participants are expected to actively participate in all daily activities and tasks.
- Subject: The exchange aims to fill information gaps on various participation opportunities and encourage young people to launch independent initiatives in youth spaces, providing them with the necessary tools and channels to do so. During this project, young people will analyze youth spaces in their local area and those in which they participate, to develop ideas for improving them.

COSTS AND REIMBURSEMENT BY THE EU
All food, accommodation and training expenses will be covered by the Erasmus+ programme. Travel expenses will be covered by the programme up to a maximum established based on the distance between the residence and the place of the activity.
HOW TO APPLY
The cost to participants is 30 euros for insurance coverage.
However, at the time of application a deposit of a total amount of 50 euros. Of these 20 will be returned, together with the reimbursement of the travel ticket, at the end of the project. Those who are not selected will instead receive a full refund of 50 euros. Those who are selected but do not leave will not receive any refund.
